Wellness Community celebrates National Cancer Survivors Day

The Wellness Community hosted the local edition of the fourteenth annual National Cancer Survivor's Day Saturday on the lawn of its Hampshire Road offices Saturday afternoon. The day is the world's largest cancer survivor event and attracts cancer survivors and their families and friends. It's celebrated in more than 700 communities across the nation.

The Wellness Community is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to help people with cancer and their loved ones with their health and mental well being during times of crisis by providing free professional programs of emotional support and education in dealing with the ramification of contracting cancer.
